Our Busy Little Man

Here are a few pictures to show what occupies most of Graham's day. If there is a tight spot to get into, he is there climbing right in and usually getting a few head bumps along the way.

and these last two are just so cute I had to add them. Graham had just woken up from his afternoon nap and Connor was still taking his. I put Graham down on the bed and he crawled right over to lay next to his dad. He loves his dad so much!

A Little Bit of Graham Lately

I am loving this stage of Graham's life! He is such a fun and adventurous child and watching him never gets old. I can't believe all of the things he is learning and experiencing already. Here are just a few pictures that capture his fun little personality.

Can you see his tooth (can you believe he already has 2)? His little pumpkin hat was a little knitting experiment and I love it so much that I think I need to make one for every occasion.

A little sneak peek of Graham's room.

I love this picture because this is how Graham landed after trying to climb on the laundry basket and because he is still holding his spoon, which gets dragged around that house to be banged against random surfaces.

The token feeding baby lime juice photo (Graham actually really liked the lime and whined when Connor took it away...he takes after his dad for sure)

Graham loved the whole moving experience, the whole house was his playground.

And when he was just a little too crazy, all we had to do was stick him in a box with some toys.

We Moved!

I made a brief reference to this in my last post and I have had a lot of response from people who had no idea that we were moving. So I guess I will explain the situation to those of you who don't know what is going on. For a long time we have felt like we would like to be saving more and decided that our last apartment we were paying more than we would have liked on rent. And then Connor's company changed locations which made things a little tricky getting by with just one car. Our lease was up at the beginning of November and our apartment complex wanted to raise our rent (totally ridiculous), we gave them our 30 days and started looking for apartments and could not have found a more perfect apartment for our little family. If you didn't already know, the company Connor works for develops master planned communities. They are currently working on a beautiful community in Wilsonville, OR called Villebois (check out the website or their blog). Anyway, they are working out of one of their townhomes, which just so happens to be right across the street from a new and reasonably priced apartment complex in the community. We got a good price for a 2 bed/2 bath apartment, I can see Connor's "office" from our bedroom window, and he gets to walk home everyday and have lunch with me and Graham.

Happy Halloween

Just a few days late. But I feel excused since I have spent the last week packing and moving, chasing around a crazy little boy, and battling a nasty sinus infection. Your requests have been heard (Kim) and here is Graham in all his Halloween turtle glory.

This is about the time Graham decided he was sick of Halloween and just wanted to go to bed.

Pumpkin Carving

Since we picked our pumpkins on Saturday, carving them was the perfect activity for family night. We were convinced that Graham was going to love being right in the middle of the squishy pumpkin mess.

We were wrong.

It terrified him.

But he still had one cute smile for the camera.

Today...

Graham tried to climb on:

the coffee table
the entertainment center
the bookshelf
the rocking chair ottoman
the couch
the air conditioning unit
the end table
the laundry basket
the sides of the bath tub
his dresser
pretty much anything he could get his hands on...

and today I...

finally just stuck Graham in his crib with some toys so that I could get showered and dressed.
